Let your creativity loose with the playfulness of Thermory’s mix and match profiles

Combining different wood species, finishes and profiles brings variety to any interior or exterior design, delivering a tantalizing injection of texture and depth. To create a striking effect with a personal twist, you can mix different shapes, sizes and profiles.

Thermory offers a selection of mix and match siding profiles to help you set your creativity free. You can really go wild and create a look as unique as you are, designing your own dense cladding pattern using a wide variety of complementary profiles in numerous widths and thicknesses. Or perhaps you’d prefer to go for a more modest look and settle for a set of two profiles – just enough to spice things up a little? Either way, we’ve got you covered.

We invite you to bring your wildest visions to life by mixing and matching – here are just a few ideas to inspire you.

Mix and match different-sized boards of the same profile

Combining a selection of boards with different widths allows you to create a patchwork of wooden wonder that’s uniquely you. Most Thermory profiles are available in several different widths that can be used together, offering infinite options for your interior walls, floors and sauna designs and your exterior cladding, decking and fencing.

For exteriors, you can also use wood’s natural weathering process to your advantage by leaving the surface untreated – different panels will fade and wear at different rates, accentuating the visual effect by complementing the various board sizes with a range of natural wood tones.

Check out C34 – the Thermory profile made to be mixed and matched

Our C34 cladding profile is designed to be mixed and matched, meaning you can play around with the available combinations to create your own perfect design. As well as being available in a large variety of widths and depths, C34 cladding can be distinguished further by selecting a painted surface, as in our Vivid collection.

Another option is to give your wall surfaces even more variety by using C34 panels alongside the “groovier” C34-2 profile; when used on exterior walls, the deep grooves of the C34 and C34-2 profiles will also make the weathering effect particularly striking.

Use different profiles together

Thermory Motion wall panel WAVE+VIRE Thermo-aspen

If you’re looking to introduce some intrigue and variety to your interior spaces, including the sauna, mixing multiple complementary products within one area could be the perfect solution.

For instance, the different shades and finishes of ridged Wave and patterned Vire can be contrasted to create a gorgeous new look by combining two aspen products that are both already handsome in their own right. Other combinations of related profiles that work well together include for example Kyte + Kyte-S and STS4 + STS Valeura.

Got your own ideas? Contact us to find out how Thermory’s products can be mixed and matched, and get started today!
