The showroom, which was designed by KAMP Architects, will offer visitors a complete overview of Thermory’s cladding, decking and sauna materials as well as displaying ready-made sauna designs from our Auroom brand.
Anyone visiting the showroom will be able to take their time exploring the spacious, airy environment as they enjoy a multisensory experience of the materials on display. “It was important for us to give customers an experience where they can see and touch Thermory products with their own hands. This is why the majority of the walls and floors are covered with thermally modified wood,” explains Piret Noor, Interior Architect at KAMP Architects. “When creating the showroom, we also wanted to inspire other architects by demonstrating what’s possible with cladding and decking installed in some novel applications that would not typically be seen, such as the radial ceiling, the herringbone terrace and the curved walls.”
The high ceilings and plentiful natural light found within the Thermory Showroom give visitors the sensation of exploring a forest path. Trees represent the origin of our thermally modified wood products, so the designers have created a powerful reminder of where this beautiful material originates from.
