Curators of Tallinn Architecture Biennale 2022 exhibition “Edible ; Or, The Architecture of Metabolism”, Lydia Kallipoliti & Areti Markopoulou discuss the future of architecture in the new video series.
Tallinn Architecture Biennale is the biggest architectural festival in the Baltics and this year is centered around a theme named Edible, or The Architecture of Metabolism. It includes a large exhibition that explores the logic of the circular economy and the ways it interacts with design fields. The biennale aims to encourage synergy between Estonian and foreign architects and also between architects and the public through meeting and exchanging ideas as it aims to empower designers, architects, planners, and practitioners to take a stance on circular operations within architecture.
6th Tallinn Architecture Biennale (TAB) is titled “Edible; Or, The Architecture of Metabolism” and is curated by Lydia Kallipoliti, Areti Markopoulou in collaboration with Chief Local Advisor Ivan Sergejev.
TAB 2022 will take place September – November 2022, with the opening week on the 7th–11th of September. The exhibition EDIBLE at Estonian Museum of Architecture is open until November 20.
TAB 2022 is chosen as one of the TOP architecture events of 2022 by Dezeen and Archdaily.
