The wood that exceeds expectations

Picture a wood that balances elegance, durability and versatility – a natural material that not only meets your demands but also exceeds your expectations.

With its striking grain patterns and excellent strength-to-weight ratio, ash has long been a favourite among craftsmen and architects seeking a blend of style and strength. Its natural beauty and performance make it stand out. While ash shares oak’s timeless appeal, strength and durability, it offers a slightly lighter weight, making it ideal for both traditional and contemporary designs.

MEET THERMO-ASH

Imagine taking a wood species already admired for its resilience and beauty and then elevating it to rival the performance of tropical hardwoods. Thermal modification enhances ash’s natural properties – rendering it highly resistant to moisture, decay and warping while deepening its naturally warm tones into rich, luxurious hues. The result is a wood species that doesn’t just look good but delivers lasting performance, even in the most challenging outdoor environments.

Whether you’re crafting sophisticated interiors or creating outdoor spaces to endure the elements, thermally modified ash is the sustainable, high-performing choice that guarantees satisfaction – with no compromises required.

The versatile choice for any application

Thermo-ash is an extremely durable material that’s suitable for a variety of applications. The material’s resistance to decay (class 1 rating for 25+ years) makes it perfect for long-lasting cladding and decking, ensuring beauty and functionality when used outdoors. Indoors, its warm tones and stability enhance walls, ceilings and floors, adding sophistication and resilience to both residential and commercial spaces.

Thermory product portfolio offers a wide selection of designs and products for different applications:

NATURAL WEATHERING

Let nature take its course. Thermory thermo-ash gracefully weathers over time, developing a silver-gray patina while maintaining its structural integrity – making it the perfect option for a low-maintenance natural look.

OILING

To retain thermo-ash’s brand-new appeal, its original rich tone can be enhanced and protected with regular UV-protectant oiling. This method preserves the wood’s deep brown color while adding extra defense against weathering and wear.

FIRE PROTECTION

For added safety, Thermory thermo-ash can be impregnated with fire-retardant. In the process, the retardant is pressed deep into the cell structure of the wood. This option provides extra peace of mind while keeping the wood’s beauty intact.
