You could say I’ve grown up with the company, witnessing its journey from the very beginning. Thermory has been a small but steady part of my daily life all the way through to my university years. Upon graduating, I had the opportunity to officially join the Thermory team as a production assistant at the Loo factory. From there, I transitioned into a production planner role. Later, I was given the opportunity to create and lead a production support unit. Today, I’m part of the group’s IT team as a Business Applications Specialist, where I apply my prior experience to managing the transition to new ERP software, organizing production data, and driving its analysis.

I joined the company during the early stages of significant changes and growth. This timing provided me with invaluable opportunities: developing production planning programs in collaboration with universities, analyzing and improving production processes, creating new product management systems, and contributing to process optimization and digitalization, among other projects.

While most children in primary school dreamed of becoming hairdressers or police officers, I dreamed of working at Thermory. It was the people and their deep respect for wood that inspired me – the way they valued and treated it as a noble, one-of-a-kind material. And of course, who could resist the smoky-sweet scent of thermally modified wood?!

What truly makes my work at Thermory fulfilling is the trust I’ve been given, the opportunity to contribute, to voice ideas, and to influence and lead change. This trust has enabled me to work freely and independently. The company’s flexibility and commitment to employee development have also allowed me to pursue a second degree alongside my work – immediately applying the new knowledge and skills to my role.

Then there are the people of Thermory – the true wood enthusiasts. Their passion is obvious, and their focus is always on the future, striving to continuously improve, to discover smarter and more innovative solutions, all while maintaining uncompromising quality.
