I spent 15 years in professional sports and gained experience in jewelry and accessory sales, beauty services, and even tried my hand at concrete finishing. However, the wood industry was completely new to me, so my journey to Thermory was quite an adventure. I happened to see their job advertisement, and it was mostly thanks to the strong encouragement of my friends and family that I decided to apply. I sincerely doubted whether I, as a complete newcomer to the field, would even stand a chance. But I was invited to an interview and decided to let things unfold.
At the interview, I was greeted by a warm and supportive team and introduced to an inspiring work environment. The offered benefits and the team’s encouraging attitude immediately left a great impression on me. I was still somewhat doubtful about whether they would hire someone with no prior experience in the wood industry. To my great surprise, I got the job! Now, a year later, here I am – still on this amazing journey, which only grows more exciting with each passing day.
At Thermory, I work in the Estonian project sales team, which has now expanded to serve clients in the whole Baltic region. I started here in February 2024 and am grateful for the opportunity to grow and develop in such an innovative and well-managed company.
